         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 13, 2005, the House Committee  
         on Appropriations met in a work session and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Pitts, at 8:50 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Committee met for refreshments and conversation.

         At 10:15 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
