         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Kolkhorst, at 8:10 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                    McClendon; Smith, Todd (5). 
          
         Absent:    Representative Branch (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 9:44 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 1:30 p.m., February 15, 2005. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:43 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Kolkhorst. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Kolkhorst; Crownover; Guillen;  
                    McClendon (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Branch; Smith, Todd (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         At 2:43 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 2:55 p.m., February 15, 2005. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 3:09 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Kolkhorst. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Kolkhorst; Branch; Crownover;  
                    Guillen; McClendon (5). 
          
         Absent:    Representative Smith, Todd (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 4:35 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned until 1:00 p.m., February 16, 2005.
