         in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Davis, John, at 8:40 a.m.

         A quorum was present.

         At 9:53 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until adjournment of the house. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 12:32 p.m. and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Davis, John. The roll was answered  
         as follows:

                    (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Gattis; Isett (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.
