         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 7, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government met  
         jointly with the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on  
         Regulatory in a public hearing to discuss Interim Charges #8 and  
         #10 and was called to order by the chair, Representative Chisum,  
         at 11:14 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:    Representatives Hamric; Menendez (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.
