         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 12, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Govt. Efficiency & Operations  
         met in a public hearing and was called to order by the acting  
         chair, Representative Pickett at 9:16 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                    (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Isett, Cheri; Truitt (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 9:59 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until the House adjourned later that  
         day. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 11:21 a.m. and was called to order  
         by Representative Pickett. The roll was answered as follows:
