Pursuant to a notice posted on June 24, 2005, the House
Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to
order by the chair, Representative Woolley, at 9:01 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representative Woolley; Seaman; Callegari; Elkins;
Kolkhorst; McCall; Rose; Turner (8).
Absent: Representative Luna; Miller; Van Arsdale (3).
A quorum was present.

Representative Woolley moved to adopt the following proposed
rule for floor consideration on HB2:
Pursuant to House Rule 3, Section 5(2), and House Rule 6,
Section 16(f), the House Committee on Calendars proposes the
following rule governing floor consideration of HB2:
(a) All original amendments that will be offered during second
reading consideration of H.B. 2 must be filed with the chief
clerk not later than 5 p.m., Monday, June 27, 2005.
(b) Any amendment is not in order unless any cost of an
amendment added to H.B. 2 is offset by an equal dollar reduction
in the cost of H.B. 2.
(c) This rule does not apply to an amendment that makes an
adjustment solely to correct a technical or clerical error.
Seconded by Representative Kolkhorst.
Representative Turner offered an amendment to the measure.

Representative Woolley moved to place the following measures:
on the Major State Calendar for Tuesday, June 28, 2005: HB2.
Seconded by Representative McCall.
The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays: None (0).
