         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 27, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Crabb, at 8:47 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Crabb; Cook, Robby; Hopson; Jackson,  
                    Jim; Krusee; Morrison; Orr; Talton (8). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Corte, Frank; Deshotel; Flores; King,  
                    Phil; McClendon; Rodriguez; West, George "Buddy" (7). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representative West, George "Buddy" now present.) 
          
         (Representative King, Phil now present.) 
          
         At 9:49 a.m., on the motion of Representative King, Phil and  
         without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call  
         of the chair.
