         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 23, 2005, the House  
         Committee on Civil Practices met in a work session and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Nixon, at 3:49 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                    Raymond; Strama (5). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives King, Phil; Madden; Talton; Woolley  
                    (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Members discussed pending business. 
          
         At 5:59 p.m., on the motion of Representative Strama and without  
         objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the  
         chair.
