Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 30,
2005, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a
formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Keel, at 11:58 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

A quorum was present.
The chair read the following memo in to the record:

Please be advised that the above referenced bills, pursuant to Rule 4,
48, House Rules, are referred to the Subcommittee on Enhancements.
That Committee is comprised as follows:

Rep. Aaron Pena, Vice Chair
Rep. Debbie Riddle, Member
The subcommittee is charged with the duty and responsibility of
conducting hearings on the referenced bills. All meetings of the
subcommittee shall be scheduled by the subcommittee chair under the
same rules of procedure as govern the conduct of a standing committee.
Therefore, House members with bills referred to the Subcommittee on
Enhancements should make hearing requests directly to Rep. Hodge.
Reports by the subcommittee will be received by the Chair of the
Criminal Jurisprudence Committee for action on those reports by the
entire standing committee.
