Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 17,
2005, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a public
hearing and was called to order by the acting chair,
Representative Farabee at 9:05 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Farabee; Crownover; Crabb; Gonzalez
Toureilles; Howard (5).
Absent: Representatives West, George "Buddy"; Corte (2).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB712.
The chair recognized Representative Cook, Robby to explain the
measure.
Representative Farabee offered a complete committee substitute.
Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.)
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
The chair recognized Representative Cook, Robby to close on the
measure.
Representative Crabb moved that SB712, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Farabee; Crabb; Gonzalez
Toureilles; Howard (4).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives West, George "Buddy"; Crownover;
Corte (3).
At 9:58 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
