         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 12,  
         2006, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         West, George "Buddy", at 1:00 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                    Crownover; Gonzalez Toureilles (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Corte, Frank; Crabb; Howard, Charlie  
                    (3). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         The chair laid out HB 149. 
          
         Representative West, George "Buddy" offered a complete committee  
         substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative West, George "Buddy" moved that HB 149, as  
         substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the  
         recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion  
         prevailed by the following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives West, George "Buddy"; Farabee;  
                         Crownover; Gonzalez Toureilles (4). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

         At 1:05 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
