         Pursuant to a notice posted on August 9, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Energy Resources met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the acting chair, Representative Farabee at  
         10:10 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Farabee; Crownover; Crabb; Gonzalez  
                    Toureilles (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives West, George "Buddy"; Corte, Frank;  
                    Howard, Charlie (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 11:41 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
