         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 13,  
         2005, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Bonnen, at 11:37 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Bonnen; Howard; King, Tracy; Driver;  
                    Homer; Smith, Wayne (6). 
          
         Absent:    Representative Kuempel (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         SB 1354 
          
         The chair laid out SB 1354, the companion to HB 2886. 
          
         The chair offered a complete committee substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Driver moved that SB 1354, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Bonnen; Howard; King, Tracy;  
                         Driver; Homer; Smith, Wayne (6). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0). 
          
         Absent:         Representative Kuempel  (1). 
          
         At 11:39 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
