         Pursuant to a notice posted on July 11, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Government Reform met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Uresti, at 9:40  
         a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Uresti; Gonzales; Hunter; Veasey (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Otto; Davis, Yvonne; Frost (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair recognized the attendance of Representatives Pitts,  
         Davis, Wong, and Howard at the hearing. 
          
         The committee took invited testimony regarding the status of the  
         Health and Human Services Commission's Integrated Eligibility  
         and Enrollment System. (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 7:42 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
