         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 4, 2006, the House Committee  
         on Insurance met in a public hearing and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Smithee, at 1:12 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         A quorum was present.

         At 3:40 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
