         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on July 21,  
         2005, the House Committee on Judiciary met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hartnett,  
         at 11:20 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                    Gonzales; Solis; Van Arsdale (7). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Keel; Straus (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         The chair laid out HB 11. 
          
         Representative Solis moved that HB 11, without amendments, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Hartnett; Hughes; Alonzo;  
                         Gonzales; Solis; Van Arsdale (6). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     Representative Hopson  (1).

         At 11:22 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
