         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 18,  
         2005, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Mowery, at 5:35 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Mowery; Pickett; Blake; Cook, Robby;  
                    Escobar; Orr (6). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Harper-Brown; Leibowitz; Miller (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         SB 848 
          
         The chair laid out SB 848. 
          
         Representative Cook, Robby offered a complete committee  
         substitute.  
          
         The chair recognized Representative Cook, Robby to explain the  
         measure.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Orr moved that SB 848, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Mowery; Pickett; Blake; Cook,  
                         Robby; Escobar; Orr (6). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0). 
          
         Absent:         Representatives Harper-Brown; Leibowitz; Miller   
                         (3). 
          
         At 5:39 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
