Pursuant to a notice posted on April 29, 2005, the House
Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a public hearing
and was called to order by the chair, Representative Mowery, at
8:08 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Mowery; Harper-Brown; Blake; Miller;
Orr (5).
Absent: Representatives Pickett; Cook, Robby; Escobar;
Leibowitz (4).
A quorum was present.
The chair directed that the April 14, 2005, minutes for the
House Committee on Land & Resource Management be corrected. The
corrected minutes were authorized without objection.
The chair directed that the April 21, 2005, minutes for the
House Committee on Land & Resource Management be corrected. The
corrected minutes were authorized without objection.
HB 3175
The chair laid out HB 3175 as pending business.
Representative Harper-Brown offered a complete committee
substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Harper-Brown moved that HB 3175, as substituted,
be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Mowery; Harper-Brown; Blake;
Escobar; Miller; Orr (6).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).

reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
