         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 12, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Agriculture and Livestock met in a public hearing  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hardcastle,  
         at 1:10 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 12, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Natural Resources met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Puente, at 1:10  
         p.m.

         Soil and Water Conservation Joint Charge 
          
         The committees considered testimony to determine if a new  
         comprehensive water conservation program is needed within the  
         Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board, focusing on water  
         conservation and water supply enhancement.  
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

         At 3:09 p.m., on the motion of the chairs and without objection,
