         Pursuant to a notice posted on November 18, 2005, the House  
         Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Grusendorf, at 9:28  
         a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair named the following members to the subcommittee on  
         School Choice [Interim Charge #1]:  Representative Eissler,  
         Chair; Representatives Branch and Dutton. 
          
         The chair named the following members to the subcommittee on  
         Resource Allocation and Budgeting [Interim Charges #2, #3, and  
         #5]:  Representative Branch, Chair; Representatives Delisi and  
         Hochberg. 
          
         The chair named the following members to the subcommittee on  
         Chapter 21 [Interim Charge #4]:  Representative Keffer, Bill,  
         Chair; Representatives Eissler and Oliveira. 
          
         The chair named the following members to the subcommittee on  
         Performance Pay and High School Improvement [Interim Charges #6  
         and #7]:  Representative Delisi, Chair; Representatives Keffer,  
         Bill and Mowery. 
          
         The chair named the following members to the subcommittee on  
         Consolidation:  Representative Dutton, Chair; Representatives  
         Mowery and Oliveira. 
          
         At 10:00 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
