         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 3, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the acting chair, Representative Mowery at  
         9:04 a.m.

         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 30, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Corrections, Subcommittee on Education, met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Madden, at 9:04 a.m. 
          
         Present:  Representative Madden; Hochberg (2) 
          
         Absent:   Jones, Delwin (1) 
          
         A quorum was present.

         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Grusendorf.
