         Pursuant to a notice posted on August 31, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Regulated Industries met in a public hearing and  
         was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Phil, at  
         10:40 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives King, Phil; Hunter; Cook, Robby;  
                    Crabb; Straus (5). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Turner; Hartnett (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 2:02 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
