         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 20,  
         2005, the House Committee on Culture, Recreation, & Tourism met  
         in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Hilderbran, at 2:39 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Hilderbran; Kuempel; Baxter; Phillips  
                    (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Dukes; Dunnam; Gallego (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair directed that the May 19, 2005, minutes for the House  
         Committee on Culture, Recreation, & Tourism be corrected. The  
         corrected minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         At 2:40 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
