CORRECTED MINUTES
On May 4, 2005, the House Committee on State Affairs authorized
the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House
Committee on State Affairs held on May 2, 2005. The following
are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on April 27, 2005 and a suspension
of the five day posting rule, the House Committee on State
Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the
chair, Representative Swinford, at 5:55 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Swinford; Miller; Gattis; Cook,
Byron; Villarreal; Wong (6).
Absent: Representatives Farrar; Keffer, Jim; Martinez Fischer
(3).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 822.
The chair recognized Representative Dawson to explain the
measure.
