Pursuant to a notice posted on March 24, 2005, the House
Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was
called to order by the chair, Representative Talton, at 8:10
a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

Rodriguez (5).
Absent: Representatives Menendez; Bailey (2).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 1913.
The chair recognized Representative Olivo to explain the
measure.

The chair recognized Representative Olivo to close on the
measure.
Representative Wong moved that HB 1913, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
