         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 22,  
         2005, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Keffer, Jim, at 9:04 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         A quorum was present.

         The chair laid out SB 1370 as pending business.  
          
         (Representative Edwards now present.) 
          
         Representative Ritter moved that SB 1370, without amendments, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on  
         Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:

                         Edwards; Grusendorf; Luna; Ritter (6). 
          
         Nays:           None (0).

         At 9:06 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
