The chair called the meeting to order at 3:39 p.m. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: Senator Averitt moved adoption of the minutes from the previous hearings held on April 25, 2005, and April 26, 2005; without objection, it was so ordered. The chair laid out HB 479. Senator Averitt moved that HB 479 be reported favorably to the Full Committee with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. Senator West moved adoption of the committee substitute sent up on May 2, 2005; without objection, it was so ordered.
