Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list. Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list. At 10:18 a.m. the roll was called, a quorum being present. At 10:56 a.m. Senator Ogden resumed the chair. At 10:58 a.m. Senator Ogden moved that the Committee stand recessed until 30 minutes after adjournment of the Senate; without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Zaffirini reconvened the Committee at 3:55 p.m. Testimony on HB 3 and SJR 38 resumed. The chair moved that the public testimony on HB 3 and SJR 38 be closed; without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Zaffirini moved that HB 3 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Zaffirini moved that SJR 38 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered. There being no further business, at 6:08 p.m. Senator Zaffirini moved that the Committee stand recessed until 30 minutes after adjournment of the Senate the following day, May 4, 2005.
