Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Subcommittee on Base Realignment and Closure was held on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, in the Webster Civic Center, Webster, Texas

At 12:39 p.m. the committee convened jointly with the Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations.  At 12:40 p.m. Senators Shapleigh and Van de Putte shared presiding duties.  The following business was transacted: 

 

Persons who provided invited testimony are listed on the attached witness list.

 

There being no further business, at 2:27 p.m. Senator Shapleigh moved that the Subcommittee on Base Realignment and Closure stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
