The Committee will meet to hear the following bills:

Relating to fire regulations for certain small commercial
structures.
HB 2253 Rose
Relating to the authority of counties to regulate the use of
outdoor lighting; providing a penalty.
HB 1928 Moreno, Joe E.
Relating to the reimbursement of medical expenses incurred by
county jailers and detention officers exposed to certain contagious
diseases.
HJR 34 Hilderbran
Proposing a constitutional amendment to abolish the office of
constable in San Saba County.
HJR 53 Smith, Todd
Proposing a constitutional amendment allowing certain state
mandates imposed on a county to have effect only if the state
provides for the payment to the county of the cost of the mandate.
SJR 14 Seliger
Proposing a constitutional amendment allowing Potter or Randall
County to abolish and reinstate the office of constable in the
county or in a precinct of the county.
SB 270 Madla
Relating to mass gatherings outside the limits of a municipality.
SB 792 Staples
Relating to the duties of the county attorney in Montgomery County.
SB 342 Brimer
Relating to the regulation of swimming pools in the unincorporated
areas of certain counties as a public nuisance.
SB 736 Brimer
Relating to the authority of certain counties to apply a county
fire code to certain buildings.
The Committee may also take action on pending business.
