The committee will meet in a public hearing to consider testimony on the
following interim charges:

1. Review the status of the Texas Cultural Endowment Fund.
2. Examine the penalties and enforcement relating to the desecration of
archeological sites and cemeteries.
3. Consider how the Texas State Library and Archives Commission could
better support and enhance public school libraries.
4. Explore new ways to promote economic development through increased
tourism in the state.
