SB 1395 Shapiro Relating to the establishment of high school diploma programs by Job Corps programs under the United States Department of Labor. SB 95 Shapleigh Relating to the establishment of an asthma research center at the Texas Tech University campus in El Paso. SB 157 Fraser Relating to the student enrollment required for the operation of Texas A&M University--Central Texas as an independent general academic teaching institution. SB 333 West, Royce / et al. Relating to the eligibility of a high school graduate for automatic admission to an institution of higher education. SB 448 Zaffirini Relating to the Texas Academy of International Studies at Texas A&M International University. SB 676 West, Royce Relating to identifying which public institutions of higher education in this state are comprehensive research universities of the first class. SB 801 Lucio Relating to a fee to support the wellness, recreational, and fitness complex at The University of Texas at Brownsville. SB 928 Ellis Relating to the effect of annexation of territory on the terms of members of the governing boards of certain junior college districts. SB 929 Ellis Relating to the service area of the Houston Community College System District. SB 936 West, Royce Relating to practices of school districts that concern the admission process to institutions of higher education. SB 1118 Ellis Relating to the authority to change the name of component institutions of The Texas A&M University System. SB 1138 Estes Relating to the establishment of a recreational and health facilities fee at Midwestern State University. SB 1185 West, Royce Relating to the qualifications of and training and continuing education for certain officials and personnel of career schools or colleges. SB 1193 Wentworth Relating to the service areas of the Alamo Community College District and the Austin Community College District. SB 1226 Shapiro Relating to a study of the reporting requirements imposed on public institutions of higher education. SB 1228 Shapiro / et al. Relating to a statewide assessment and accountability system for public institutions of higher education. SB 1247 West, Royce Relating to admission to the Joint Admission Medical Program. SCR 24 West, Royce / et al. Memorializing Congress to support federal efforts to simplify the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and to support legislation requiring a new formula for distributing federal campus-based funds among institutions. The Committee will consider CSHB 2 after the above posted committee business is complete. HB 2 Grusendorf / et al. SP: Shapiro Relating to public education and public school finance matters.
