The Senate Subcommittee on Higher Education will hold a hearing on
Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in the Capitol Extension, Room
E1.012.

The Subcommittee will hear invited testimony on Interim Charge #1- Study th
impact and costs associated with distance learning on traditional higher
education.

The Subcommittee will also hear invited testimony on Interim Charge #4-
Monitor the progress of the Closing the Gaps goals and recommend any
legislative action needed to ensure we stay on target to meet the goals by
2015.
