Amend CSHB 1 by adding rider No.___ to Article VII Texas 
Department of Transportation:
	Heritage Trails Program: Out of the amounts appropriated 
above, the Texas Department of Transportation shall make available 
during the biennium $8.9 million in federal Transportation 
Enhancement funds administered by the department for Heritage 
Trails program project whenever such projects are approved by the 
Texas Historical Commission's Heritage Trails Program and meet 
federal funding requirements of the Transportation Enhancement 
Program as defined by U. S. Department of Transportation, Federal 
Highway Administration, in federal regulations promulgated under 
the authority of Title 23, United States Code.
