Amend CSHB 1 by adding the following to Article XI in the 
appropriate location:

THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
	Contingency for HCR 143. Contingent on passage of HCR 143 or 
similar resolution or legislation creating a Commission on Online 
Learning to perform specified functions with support from The 
University of Texas System Institute for Public School Initiatives, 
the amount of $252,671 in General Revenue for the fiscal year ending 
August 31, 2008, and the amount of $212,670 in General Revenue for 
the fiscal year ending August 31, 2009, is appropriated to The 
University of Texas System to implement the provisions of the 
legislation.
