Amend CSHB 109 by adding the following appropriately numbered 
SECTION and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of the bill 
accordingly:
	SECTION ____. The Health and Human Services Commission may 
not terminate the provision of health benefits to a child who is 
enrolled in the child health plan program under Chapter 62, Health 
and Safety Code, before the date the commission fully terminates 
the contract and transitions all components to a new contractor 
selected after a competitive bidding procurement process for the 
implementation of the redesigned integrated eligibility and 
benefits determination system for health and human services that 
was in effect on January 1, 2007.
