System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend CSHB 109 by adding the following appropriately numbered 
SECTION and renumbering the subsequent SECTIONS of the bill 
accordingly:
	SECTION ____. Section 62.005, Health and Safety Code, is 
added to read as follows: EXPENDITURE OF AVAILABLE MONEY. For each 
state fiscal biennium the commission shall develop a plan to use all 
federal money available for the state child health insurance 
program for that biennium, including money remaining from previous 
years' allocations of federal money for the plan, to provide health 
coverage for:
		(1) up to 662,000 children; or                                         
		(2) the maximum number of children that may be provided 
services under the plan.
