	Amend HB 218 by adding the following appropriately numbered 
SECTION to the bill and renumbering the remaining SECTIONS 
accordingly:
	SECTION ____.  Section 63.012, Election Code, is amended by 
amending Subsection (b) and adding Subsection (c) to read as 
follows:
	(b)  An offense under Subsection (a)(1) [this section] is a 
Class B misdemeanor.
	(c)  An offense under Subsection (a)(2) is a Class A 
misdemeanor.
