Amend CSHB 323 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                       
	(1)  In the introductory language to SECTION 3 of the bill 
(page 1, line 30), strike "Section" and substitute "Sections 34.012 
and".
	(2)  In SECTION 3 of the bill, after the introductory 
language (page 1, between lines 30 and 31), insert:
	Sec. 34.013.  BUS SEAT BELT POLICY.  A school district shall 
require a student riding a bus operated by or contracted for 
operation by the district to wear a seat belt if the bus is equipped 
with seat belts for all passengers on the bus.  A school district 
may implement a disciplinary policy to enforce the use of seat belts 
by students.
