Amend HB 459 (house committee printing) as follows:                          
	(1) On page 1, line 6, strike "Subsection (d)" and substitute 
"Subsections (d) and (e)".
	(2) On page 1, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following 
subsection:     
	(e) This section does not apply to a monument or memorial that 
honors a person who:
		(1) owned a slave; or                                                  
		(2) is or was a member of or affiliated with a terrorist 
organization, including the Ku Klux Klan.
