Amend CSHB 1355 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                      
	(1)  In SECTION 6 of the bill, in proposed Section 822.007, 
Health and Safety Code (page 2, line 36), between "DOGS." and "This 
subchapter", insert "(a)".
	(2)  In SECTION 6 of the bill, in proposed Section 822.007, 
Health and Safety Code (page 2, between lines 38 and 39), insert the 
following new Subsection (b):
	(b)  Section 822.005 does not apply in a county or 
municipality that does not have a leash law.
