	Amend CSHB 2426 (House Committee Printing) by striking page 
9, line 26, through page 10, line 1, and substituting the following:

For purposes of this subsection:                                       
		(1)  "Degree program" has the meaning assigned by 
Section 61.003, Education Code.
		(2)  "Institution of higher education" means an 
"institution of higher education" or a "private or independent 
institution of higher education" as those terms are defined by 
Section 61.003, Education Code.
