	Amend HB 2427 (committee printing) as follows:                               

(1)  On page 16, line 17, between "concerning" and "the fees" 	insert "all".
	(2)  On page 16, strike line 19, and substitute "product and 
the sale and administration of the product. The list must include 
other information concerning each product as determined by the 
retirement system. In implementing the list, the retirement system 
shall take action to avoid increasing the amount of work required of 
educational institutions, which may include assigning a unique 
identifying number to each product.".
	(3)  On page 20, lines 25 through 27, strike ", or may assess 
an administrative penalty against the company under this section,".
	(4)  Strike page 21, line 12, through page 22, line 11.                        
	(5)  On page 22, strike lines 12 through 15 and substitute 
the following:    
	(c)  A proceeding to suspend or revoke a certification, 
recertification, or registration under this section is a contested 
case under Chapter 2001, Government Code.
