Amend HB 2542 (Senate committee printing), in SECTION 3 of 
the bill, by striking amended Subsection (g), Section 487.021, 
Government Code (page 2, lines 8 through 11), and substituting the 
following:

	(g)  The commissioner of agriculture or the commissioner's 
designee shall serve as [members of] the [executive committee 
annually shall elect a] presiding officer [from among the members] 
of the board [executive committee].
