System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend HB 2785 by adding, on page 1 between lines 11 and 12, 
the following: 
	"(a-2) Notwithstanding the state compression percentage in 
subsection (a-1), the state may only appropriate funds to reduce 
the compression percentage below 66.67 percent if each school 
district and open-enrollment charter school receives from the state 
an amount equal to the product of $6,000 multiplied by the number of 
classroom teachers, full-time librarians, full-time counselors 
certified under Subchapter B, Chapter 21, and full-time school 
nurses employed by the district."
