	Amend the Eissler amendment to CSHB 2814 as follows:                         
	(1)  On page 1, line 25, between "to" and "a", insert ":  
			(A)".                                                                 
	(2)  On page 1, line 27, after the semicolon, insert the 
following:          

and                                                                    
			(B)  a requirement that the English immersion 
component of the program will comprise at least 50 percent of the 
average instructional time;
