	Amend CSHB 2818 (House Committee Printing) as follows:                       

(1)  On page 1, between lines 13 and 14, insert the 	following:               
	(b)  Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, an 
area included in the Southeastern Electric Reliability Council must 
remain in the Southeastern Electric Reliability Council.
	(2)  On page 1, line 14, strike "(b)" and substitute "(c)".
