Amend CSHB 3674 (house committee printing) as follows:                       

(1)  On page 3, strike lines 14-21, and substitute the 	following:            
	SECTION 3.  Section 209.005, Property Code, is amended by 
adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows:
	(a-1)  A property owners' association described by Section 
552.0036(2), Government Code, shall make the books and records of 
the association, including financial records, reasonably available 
to any person requesting access to the books or records in 
accordance with Chapter 552, Government Code.  Subsection (a) does 
not apply to a property owners' association to which this 
subsection applies.
	(2)  On page 4, strike lines 4-6 and substitute the 
following:               
	Sec. 209.0055.  VOTING.  (a) This section applies only to a 
property owners' association that:
	(3)  On page 4, line 18, between "property owners' 
association" and "may not", insert "described by Subsection (a)".
