	Amend CSHB 3828 as follows:                                                  
	(1)  On page 10, strike lines 14 through 18 and renumber the 
subsequent subdivisions accordingly.
	(2)  On page 10, line 21, strike the period following 
"appropriate" and substitute ", except as provided by Subsection 
(g).".
	(3)  On page 11, following line 6, insert the following:                       
	(g)  The board may not consider end-of-degree and 
end-of-certificate exams to measure the quality of degrees or 
certificates.
