	Amend CSHB 3837 (House Committee Printing) as follows:                       

(1)  On page 11, at the end of line 27, add ":
			(A)".                                                                 
	(2)  On page 12, at the end of line 2, add "and".                       
	(3)  On page 12, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following:                  
			(B)  each existing well located inside the area 
subject to the exploration permit, or, if at least 10 existing wells 
are located inside that area, 10 wells that are equally distributed 
inside that area;
